Cornerstone Bible Church

Dr. Steve Spurlin has joined the ministry team of Cornerstone Bible Church as our full-time Teaching Pastor! Steve and his wife Cheryl have two children, a daughter Camryn (12) and a son Christian (10). The Spurlins come to us from Viola, Arkansas where Steve has served as pastor of Viola First Baptist Church for the past five years.

Dr. Spurlin received undergraduate degrees in Music and Psychology from Williams Baptist College and he earned his Masters of Theological Studies from Tyndale Seminary; his doctorate of Theological Studies from Scofield Graduate School; and his doctorate of Philosophy from Trinity Graduate School of Apologetics and Theology. In addition to his experience as a pastor, Dr. Spurlin has served as a youth pastor and as a worship leader. He is a gifted teacher with a passion for equipping the church for service and for reaching the lost for Christ.
