Evangelistic Outreach

Purpose:

To prepare believers to proclaim the good news of Christ Jesus to an unsaved world. Along with this, it is our purpose to share the good news and make disciples of men from a dark and lost world.

Activities/Events:

The evangelistic outreach program is divided into two areas:

  1. Training: Training classes are administered for those interested in learning how to proclaim the gospel clearly and accurately. These classes are based on materials from EvanTell, a non-denominational, non-profit Christian ministry whose goal is to partner with Christians, Churches, and other Christian organizations to make the gospel of Jesus Christ known to all those who are not trusting in Christ alone for their salvation. Training classes offered are:
    1. N.E.T.S. (Non-threatening Evangelism Training System): This twelve part series is designed to take a small group of believers over a three-month period and equip them to consistently, confidently, and clearly share the Gospel. The twelve sessions are designed to take one-and-a-half hours each week. Each session has built in accountability so believers are talking to the lost and not simply about the lost.
    2. You Can Tell It!: This four-hour evangelism training seminar helps believers overcome the two biggest problems in evangelism: fear and not knowing how (teaches the Bad News / Good News method).
  2. Outreach: Various outreach activities are planned throughout the year to allow believers to share the gospel with our community.
